OptiLube sterile lubricating jelly is a medical device, developed to aid smooth insertion
during a range of examinations and procedures.

The use of sterile lubricating jelly during procedures and examinations reduces the risk of pain and trauma to the patient, by reducing resistance during insertion needed for medical procedures and examinations.

We offer OptiLube sterile lubricating jelly in a range of sizes and formats, from 2.7g sachets, up to 113g tubes. Our range of formats allows the clinician to select the size most suitable for the procedure, reducing product waste and promoting best practice infection prevention with the use of our single-use formats.

Sterile, single-use sachets
OptiLube sterile lubricating jelly is available in 2.7g, 5g and 20g sachets.

Our sachets are easy to open and designed for procedures and examinations requiring a smaller volume of lubrication.

These single-use sachets promote best practice infection prevention and reduce cross-contamination between patients.

Larger volume tubes
Our larger volume tubes of OptiLube sterile lubricating jelly are ideal for when more lubricant is required. We offer OptiLube sterile lubricating jelly in 42g, 82g and 113g tubes with flip-caps to allow easy opening and closing for reapplication.

OptiLube tubes are supplied sterile and remain sterile until opened. Once opened they have a lifetime of up to 3 months.

Lubrication for catheterisation
In addition to our OptiLube sachets and tubes, we also have a range of catheterisation jelly syringes, developed specifically for use during catheterisation. All pre-filled syringes in our catheterisation jelly range are single-use and sterile.

OptiLube Active contains local anaesthetic (Lidocaine 2%) and antiseptic (Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.05%)

OptiLube Active CHG Free contains local anaesthetic (Lidocaine 2%).

OptiLube sterile lubrication syringe contains no active ingredients.
