3M Cavilon Advanced Skin Protectant 5050G is a sterile, single-use 2.7ml applicator containing an advanced polymer-based skin barrier. It is designed for at-risk or damaged skin and provides approximately 100 sq. in. of coverage.
This alcohol-free, latex-free skin protectant adheres to wet, weepy or damaged skin while remaining breathable. It can be used around peristomal, peri-wound and IV insertion sites, including beneath vascular access dressings and medical adhesives.
As a 3M Cavilon skin protectant, this product sits within a clinical skin care category focused on protecting vulnerable skin around dressings, devices and sites requiring adhesive management. Its applicator format supports single-use clinical application where a sterile product is required.
