Zetuvit Plus Silicone (Packet 10) is a sterile, absorbent dressing with a silicone adhesive border for wound management. It is designed for the treatment of moderate to highly exuding acute and chronic wounds. The dressing comprises an absorbent pad made from cellulose and superabsorbent polyacrylate for the absorption and retention of exudate.
On the wound side, it is covered with a fine-mesh silicone interface to facilitate application of the dressing and promote non-adherence to the wound. The backing of the dressing is made of green-coloured, polypropylene nonwoven, which is hydrophobic but permeable to air, allowing gas exchange.
