Proximel Silicone Dressing Heel (Box 5) is a five-layer wound dressing designed to promote healing and support pressure injury prevention by quickly and effectively managing wound exudate while reducing and redistributing pressure at the injury site.
The dressings unique five-layer design provides a comfortable, secure, and effective solution for wound care. It features a silicone wound contact layer for pain-free removal, an absorbent polyurethane foam layer, a non-woven layer, a superabsorbent core, and a protective backing layer.
The dressing can be worn for up to 7 days as wound healing progresses from heavy to moderate to light levels of exudate.
