Coloplast Purilon Hydrogel (Box 10) is made of natural ingredients, such as water, sodium alginate and calcium alginate, which can create a moist and optimal environment for wound healing. The hydrogel can also absorb excess exudate, reduce pain and inflammation, and prevent infection and scarring. The hydrogel is easy to apply and remove, and does not damage the surrounding skin or the wound bed. The hydrogel is suitable for various types of wounds, such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, and abrasions.
