Atrauman Ag 10x10cm (Box 10) is a silver-containing wound contact layer that is designed to kill bacteria and promote healing. It is made with a polyamide tulle dressing that is chemically coated with metallic silver and impregnated with a non-petroleum triglyceride-based ointment.
Atrauman Ag is suitable for the treatment of a variety of wounds, including chronic wounds such as ulcus cruris, diabetic leg ulcers, and decubitus ulcers. It can also be used to treat acute burns up to the second degree.
The non-adherent dressing is gentle to remove and conformable, making it comfortable for the patient. It is also sterile to help prevent infection.
