Atrauman St 20x30cm (Box 10) is a triglyceride-impregnated wound contact layer designed to provide a soothing and protective barrier for various types of wounds, including skin tears, abrasions, grafts, and minor burns. The small mesh weave of the dressing minimises the risk of tissue ingrowth while allowing exudate to pass through freely. Compared to traditional paraffin gauze dressings, Atrauman leaves behind minimal residue in the wound.
It maintains wound moisture to promote healing and protects the wound from external factors to reduce the risk of tissue ingrowth.
